Country's fourth largest software exporter Satyam Computers on Monday said it has entered into an alliance with Tyfone for providing mobile financial services.
Satyam's deep domain experience and system integration expertise with Tyfone's complete mobile financial services infrastructure would provide institutions better solutions and technology, Satyam said in a release.
"We chose to partner with Tyfone because their platform is issuer-centric, enabling issuer-branded services to have complete lifecycle control over the mobile financial services offering," Satyam CEO and co-founder B Rama Raju said.
Tyfone's technology suite currently encompasses an independent, issuer-branded solution for secure mobile banking, contactless payments, retail, remittance, and mobile identity management services, enabling institutions to communicate quickly with their customers via cell phones.
"Having Satyam as a partner, with its global reach, deep domain expertise and experience in system integration and consultancy services, we provide our customers with a sustainable competitive advantage," Tyfone Chief Executive Officer Tom Spitzer said.
