The PioneerTo strengthen its foothold in the SMB (small and medium businesses) community, Xerox India on Thursday announced the launch of its 'Emerging Markets' in Bhubaneswar. The Xerox 'Emerging Markets' launch would cover 16 tier-two cities, including Bhubaneswar, and is aimed at communicating Xerox's value proposition and ensuring better channel partner engagement in India. Xerox is showcasing eight newly-launched products ranging from small, cost-effective A4 printers to feature-rich monochrome MFPs in the identified markets and targeting the fast-growing SMB community that is expected to spend Rs 5,600 crore in printing and printing supplies in 2008, as per a report by AMI Partners. Shailendra Sarup, the company's Associate Director, Channels, said, "Bhubaneswar is one of the key challengers to the six tier-1 cities in the country."
