Technopark-based Hages Business Solutions (HBS), a total technology solution provider, has signed an agreement with Baitech for jointly marketing and executing SAP projects in South Africa.
According to KG Gopakumar, managing director, HBS, the company will partner Baitech for major SAP projects worth over $50 million in the next three years in various public and private sectors.
The company, which has its expertise in providing e-business and technology solutions, is looking forward to explore various options to increase its footprint in southern Africa with this deal.
Gopakumar added that HBS was also looking at expanding to other regions in the coming years. Apart from the deal with the South African company, it has signed an SAP support contract with a Kuwait-based company for its Indian operations.
"We are looking at having our new office in West Asia by the end of the current year," the HBS managing director said.
Aiming at both organic and inorganic growth in the near future, the company hopes to clock a topline of Rs 12 crore this year from its India, Europe and Africa operations.
HBS, which has completed three years of operations from the Thiruvananthapuram Technopark, aims at being a Rs 100 crore company by 2011.
A part of West & Sun of the UK, which is a major solutions provider for It and telecommunications players, HBS clientele includes Jindal Steel, Radico Khaitan, Mathrubhumi, Metropolis, Haldia Petrochemicals, Ester Industries, Alghanim Industries, Saudi Aramco and Attune Sri Lanka, he pointed out.
"Our focus is on SAP consulting, implementations, application development, maintenance, product development and training and we have already grown to a size of 100 SAP consultants in India and abroad," Gopakumar said.
