HCL TECH UNIT GETS RS 60 CRORE CONTRACT

Software services firm HCL Technologies Ltd said on Monday its unit HCL Comnet has signed a five-year outsourcing contract with state-run Union bank of India, worth Rs 60 crore.

The deal involves handling end-to-end managed network services for all Union Bank's branches during this period, HCL said in a statement.

Ahead of the announcement, HCL Technologies shares ended at 225.15 rupees, down 5.8 percent in a weak Mumbai market.
