Siemens Building Technology Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Siemens Ltd, has set up its first graphics and engineering centre of competence in India at Chennai.
Anand Mecheri, CEO and managing director, SBTPL, said the centre would cater to engineering design software configuration and graphics development services for India and Asia, which account for 7 percent of company’s revenue.
The potential of building technology in India is around Rs 2,000 crore and is growing at 20 percent year on year, he said.
