British airline bmi has opted for a passenger loyalty solution developed by the city-based IBS Software.
The airline has chosen IBS’ iFly Loyalty solution to administer its frequent flier programme and customer relationship management functions such as campaign management, feedback management, fraud detection and management information and analytics, says an IBS press release.
iFly Loyalty is part of the iFly solution suite created by IBS, which develops software solutions for the travel and transportation sectors.
According to IBS, its software solution will enable bmi to better integrate with other members of the Star Alliance, a global airline network. The software’s scalability will enable the airline to keep pace with the constantly evolving preferences of its customers and respond proactively to market dynamics, the press release adds.
The iFly Loyalty solution has a ‘rules engine’ feature that offers airlines the flexibility of creating multiple rules to run a loyalty programme, the release claims. This feature helps accrual and redemption of mileage points and all elements of designing and managing a passenger loyalty programme, the release adds.
