Independent software testing company Maveric Systems announced its tie-up with Smartsoft Inc, a provider of test automation tools, on Monday. This initiative will reduce overall cost of test automation solutions to clients by at least 40 percent.

“We see tremendous scope for testing solutions by suitably bundling services around cost-effective automation tools,” said V N Mahesh, executive director of Maveric Systems. “The SmarteFlow Suite of products provides robust frameworks enabling ease of use and resulting in high levels of productivity. With this partnership, our clients will benefit from substantially lower automation investments delivering solutions that are quicker to deploy, provide better coverage and easier to maintain,” he added.

The solution will also combine the industry’s most efficient keyword-driven test automation tools with Maveric Systems’ expertise in service and maintenance of test automation solutions, he said. SmartSoft offers automated test suites supporting web-based, client-server, mainframe, point-of-sale and mobile software platforms. These tools are available to clients through multiple-solution offerings from the Maveric Systems’ stable. Through this tie-up, Maveric Systems offers complete automation solutions to clients across India, UK, USA and the Middle East. It also opens up markets to Smartsoft Inc across the globe.

Maveric Systems recently announced its tie up IIT-M to set up an automation centre of excellence (CoE) at the institute’s research park. This CoE will focus on creating robust frameworks to deliver reusable automation solutions. The company plans to invest Rs 4 crore over a period of three years on the 5,000-sq ft facility.
