Cognizant Technology Solutions, a global consulting, technology and business process services provider has inaugurated its delivery centre in Budapest, Hungary. The new centre will support Cognizant’s European customers with near-shore services in a similar time zone. It will also leverage techno-functional and multilingual capabilities available in the region, according to a release issued here on Wednesday.
Cognizant’s operation in Budapest started earlier this year with Clinical Data Management (CDM) services to AstraZeneca, a leading pharmaceutical company.
In addition to AstraZeneca, the new Budapest delivery centre will provide application development and maintenance services to a leading consumer products goods manufacturer, and also provide system architecture and quality assurance services to a re-insurance firm.
