Adobe Systems Inc, the world's biggest maker of design programs, will begin offering premium features for a fee on its Acrobat.com site, adding to free services that help business users share documents online. Adobe offers free access to its Acrobat.com Web site that includes Internet conferencing, a Web-based word processor, and file sharing and document storage. The new services expand the number of documents that can be created and users who can participate, Adobe said today in a statement. The Chief Executive Officer, Shantanu Narayen, said Adobe is releasing more Web-based programs and services as companies handle more of their work online. It also offers an Internet version of Photoshop image-editing application.
