Nasscom Foundation (NF), established to leverage information and communication technologies (ICT) to empower and transform the lives of the underserved, has drawn up plans to mark its footprint in new territories, expand on its network of NGOs and get more focused on poverty alleviation programme.
Rufina Fernandes, CEO, Nasscom Foundation, said, “We have drawn up elaborate plans to take Nasscom Knowledge Centre to new territories like Chhattishgarh, Uttaranchal, Bihar and the North East. We would like to have more donors on board and possibly more importantly, ensure that underprivileged women receive training under our poverty alleviation programme and are able to get the right jobs.”
