Pune-based software product developer Aftek has developed an integrated security system, which includes a motion-sensing camera, an alarm, remote monitoring capabilities and video storage facilities. The system called, SpyGuard, is compatible with GSM modem and the videos captured by the system can be viewed from any location on the Internet.
The company is positioning the system as an anti-theft mechanism for homes and commercial establishments. Dhananjay Kulkarni, senior vice-president, engineering, Aftek, said, "SpyGuard captures videos only after sensing a motion, rather than mindless recording. If a person enters a house, the system will start recording after sensing movement.”
