WIPRO UNIT WINS OUTSOURCING DEAL FROM SPENCER'S RETAIL RETAILER

A unit of Wipro Ltd, India's third-ranked software services exporter, said on Monday it had won a five-year outsourcing contract from Indian retailer Spencer's Retail Ltd.

It did not give financial details. Under the contract, Wipro Infotech will provide technology infrastructure management services to Spencer's, which operates 400 stores in 66 Indian cities, the company said in a statement.
