After kicking off HERA FxV-India’s first ever indigenously designed digital car platform through formation of consortiums, Satyam Computer Services Ltd now plans to tap the aerospace sector and is working on the creation of a digital platform for the Regional Transport Aircraft (RTA-70).

“Satyam is expanding the digital car platform to build India’s first digital platform for aircraft as well,” Venkatesh Chandrasekharan, vice-president and head-Innovation & Creative Group, Aerospace, Automotive and Manufacturing Business Group, Aatyam Computer Services, said. The aircraft project is DST initiative and Satyam Computers is part of the think-tank. The National Aerospace Laboratory (NAL) is working on the development of the RTA 70 and Satyam will be working in close association with NAL on this,” he said. For the digital car platform, he said the company has identified and short-listed about 25 partnerships with universities both in India and abroad through the Mayanet model.
