Harbinger Group, the Pune-based global provider of software products and services, hopes to clock a revenue growth of $100 million this fiscal from $20 million in FY 2007-08. It is also eyeing a share of the global $200million corporate training and e-education market.

On Monday, it launched YawnBuster, a patented software product for overseas market. Priced at $250 with a 25 per cent discount for the non-profit organisations, the software brings together PowerPoint and Flash, and can be used effectively in corporate training, education, sales presentation, business meetings and other such applications, the company said. Vikas Joshi, chairman and managing director of the 18-year-old Harbinger Group, said the need for such software was felt for a long time enabling interactive group activities such as audience polls, games, group exercise and competitions to be fun. “With our new software, indigenously developed, presenters can get their audience to think, enjoy, participate and identify key takeaways of their sessions quickly and easily,” he said. The company will launch YawnBuster globally at seven events in San Jose, Salt Lake City, Orlando, Shanghai, London, Paris and Berlin. “Harbinger will also leverage its presence in UK, UK and Australia as well as its partner network to reach overseas markets in 40 countries,” Joshi said.
