Global IT services firm Logica has expanded its India presence with the launch of its second spark innovation centre in Bangalore. The centre will focus on mobility solutions for the future. The innovation centre will provide solutions in areas of intelligent transportation, wireless monitoring of vehicle emissions, dynamic vehicle insurance and targeted interactive advertising. “The spark innovation centres enable us to work in partnership with customers to create ideas for the future that will directly impact their bottom line. Mobility solutions are an area of focus for almost every industry,” said Andy Green, CEO, Logica. The Lisbon innovation centre, centred around the theme of energy and utilities, was launched in May 2008 and another focused on payments will open shortly in Amstelveen, Netherlands, it said.
