MAIT, the apex body representing  India's IT hardware, training and R&D services sectors, in collaboration  with software major, Microsoft, launched a corporate social responsibility  campaign—digital Inclusion to facilitate access to computers and software to the  digitally deprived. MAIT along with Microsoft has tied up with 13 NGOs and has  committed to supply 20,000 laptops and desktops with genuine software to the  organizations over one year. The industry body has also roped in Neuron  Computers to refurbish used products, which in turn will be provided to the  NGOs.
