FAB CITY EYEING $10 BILLION

Hyderabad’s fab city project is aiming to receive investment of almost $10 billion over the next five to seven years from semiconductor companies, having already received proposals worth $1.5 billion so far. The fab city project in Hyderabad is spread over 1,200 acres, and “is 80% occupied with the participation from 23 companies,” said, B P Acharya, MD, AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation. Moser Baer and KSK Surya are among leading companies to have established their manufacturing units here.
