Infrastructure expansion

The state has witnessed a spurt of economic activity and is poised to provide better infrastructure. Gujarat has a number of major crane hiring and machinery sourcing companies that hire out mobile, telescopic and crawler for different projects in the state for sectors like petrochemical, power, offshore refineries, cement industries, river projects, roadways development etc. The international brand cranes are responding to the states quick needs to urbanise and accommodate optimum industrial activity atmosphere.

Construction solution companies are bringing in powermix machines, batching plants, expressway construction and levelling machines etc that are changing the shape of transport, industry-city connectivity, freight corridor development and better public commuting access. Many project developers are commissioning collapsible pre-cast industrial warehouses, production units, workspaces etc using pre-fabricated engineering technology which allows volume-wise space expansion and affirms to international construction standards.

Energized to perform

Gujarat is at the forefront to be “Petro Capital” of the country. Reliance Industries have struck black gold at their basins and the Jamnagar Refinery shall provide much needed petroleum products to generate energy. Gujarat has recently offered tax sops to industries switching to renewable sources of energy in order to be self reliant on energy generation and utilisation. Many SEZs have solar energy, wind energy and Bio gas energy generation plants that not only generate captive energy but also distribute excess electricity to light up nearby villages. Recently there was a major engineering accomplishment achieved with implementation of new “Jyoti Gram Yojana” to provide 24 hours 3 Phase electricity to villages. Whilst keeping the villages connected with electricity, the state has the lowest electricity rates for agricultural use and one of the highest per capita availability of electricity in the state

Advantage IT

When Gujarati business houses are about to shake hands with global business conglomerates, they are upgrading the momma-pappa industrial workspaces to a livewire workspace with computerised inventory, material booking and tracking, cameras to monitor operation and ensure security. More and more companies are offering software packages for dedicated industrial operations like accountancy, inventory management, CAD, computerised sensitive security systems. Training professionals on latest softwares shall make them globally competitive business individuals.
