‘Let’s Vote’ campaign is picking up in the city, especially in the IT companies. Software engineers are busy sending mails and SMSes to their colleagues, friends and family members not to ignore the importance of elections. “No Vote-No Right” has become the new slogan among the software engineers and students of engineering institutes.
The IndUS Entrepreneurs president, J.A. Chowdary, who was instrumental to start the campaign said thousands of IT professionals have come forward to join the movement. “The youngsters understand the importance of elections. They will have the right to demand for basic amenities and security only when they fulfil their social responsibilities. We hope the campaign will continue even after the general elections,” said Chowdary.
