GENESYS, CONSILIUM SIGN PACT FOR INDIA, SE ASIA

Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories and Consilium Software today announced the signing of a partnership agreement to deliver contact centre and enterprise solutions in India and South-East Asia.

Consilium would resell the entire suite of Genesys' solutions and provide implementation support to joint customers, a press release said here.

"This strategic alliance expands both companies' ability to reach more customers in the Asia-Pacific region, delivering solutions that optimise customer service and improve business efficiency within enterprises," Genesys Senior Vice-President (APAC and Japan) Michael McBrien said.

"Genesys is a leading provider of contact applications and we are excited to be representing them in the significant markets of India and south-east Asia," Consilium CEO Pramod Ratwani said.

Under the alliance, both companies would focus on several key initiatives, including increasing sales coverage for Genesys solutions in the region and providing leading-edge services to the regional joint customers.

They would develop best practices that enable superior customer service, improved communication and the flow of business processes across the enterprise.

Genesys software directs more than 100 million customer interactions every day for 4,000 companies and Government agencies in 80 countries.
