Chennai-based Cybernet-SlashSupport (CSS) on Monday announced its foray into the West Asia market, with focus on Muscat and Dubai.

The company, which provides tech support, software testing and development and remote infrastructure management (RIM) services, has also signed agreements with two banks in the region.

Shiva Ramani, chief executive officer, CSS, said West Asia was currently facing skills shortage in areas such as networking, application and implementation.

“Given this scenario, we believe there is a lot of potential for IT services to be executed by Indian firms,” he added.

Sridhar Kulasekharan, chief operating officer, CSS, said the expansion was part of the company’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) foray with focus on the software testing-performance engineering market for enterprise applications, Lotus Notes, websphere offerings and the RIM space.
