COMPUTER-AIDED LEARNING PROGRAMME IN SCHOOLS LAUNCHED

An initiative to introduce computer-aided learning and interactive curriculam support in 1,000 rural schools in the country was launched by former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam at the Gandhi Niketan Ashram School, about 50 kms from here.

The e-learning/digital content programme programme launched Wednesday, with the support of Everonn Systems India, an Education and Training company, would help the students clarify their doubts sitting at their class.

Schools would be given infrastructure required for Information Technology based education which would have animation and interactive tools for various projects at the high/higher secondary school level.
