The Greece-based easyCruise has gone live with IBS’ Cruise Partner, a new-generation third-party cruise reservation system, to handle the entire reservation process to support their business.
IBS, a leading information technology solution provider to the global travel, transportation and logistics industry, signed an agreement with easyCruise to provide all aspects of the reservation process via the web for consumers, travel agents, call centres and Amadeus Cruise for external travel agents and tour operators.
easyCruise is one of the latest ventures of the easy Group, the promoters of the ‘easy’ brand that includes easyjet, Europe’s leading low-cost airlines. easyCruise has started accepting bookings using IBS’ software on its web site and through call centres for cruises sailing from March 2009.
Cruise Partner will enable easyCruise to enhance its customer satisfaction by providing user-friendly reservations for the entire cruise, including shore excursions, optional on board packages, special requests and amenities, with the potential to book travel insurance and flight arrangements, V.K. Mathews, Chairman and CEO, IBS Group, said in a statement here.
