EDUCOMP BAGS RS 84 CRORE ORDER FROM GUJARAT GOVT

Educomp Solutions, New Delhi based IT infrastructure provider to schools, on Wednesday said that it bagged Rs 83.82 crore order from Gujarat government to introduce computer aided learning for 8,50,000 students of government run schools of the state.

Key deliveries include supply, installation and maintenance of computer hardware, software and connected accessories providing computer aided education. With the current order the company has reached 13,792 schools in the country including 5099 in Gujarat alone, said the company in a statement to Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).

Company's stock was up by 3.17 percent to Rs 2500 a share on BSE post the announcement at 2.05 pm.
